What you can eat on vegan Candida CLEANSE meal plan:

  • non-starchy veggies,
  • herbs/spices,
  • buckwheat, millet, amaranth, whole grain rice, quinoa, oat bran,
  • carob,
  • nuts/seeds, avocado, olives,
  • tofu/tempeh,
  • unsweetened nut milks,
  • unsweetened soy milk and natural soy yogurt.

and foods to avoid on Candida cleanse:

  • starchy veggies,
  • legumes,
  • gluten grains (wheat, spelt, rye, kamut, farro, barley),
  • peanuts, cashews, pistachios,
  • nutritional/brewer’s/baker’s yeast, vinegar (only apple cider vinegar is included)
  • sugar and sugar substitutes (only stevia and xylitol are allowed),
  • alcohol, coffee, green and black tea,
  • fruits and berries (fresh and dried).

P.S. You’d most probably be on candida cleanse diet for longer than a week! However, you can change the sequence of the days to make the weeks different.

My vegan Candida cleanse meal plan is fine-tuned:

  • no meal exceeds 20 glycemic load (GL) points,
  • you wouldn’t get more than 100 GL points daily,
  • all vitamin, mineral and protein RDA’s are met,
  • you wouldn’t get more than 25% of your calories from fat,
  • right food combining has been taken into account as much as possible.

I compiled the meals mostly in Buddha bowl style large part of them being raw non-starchy veggies. However, you’ll also find comforting soups and stews from the plan.

Furthermore, I structured the meal plans in a way that you’d need to cook the main meals once a day (in the evening) and you’d have the same meal for lunch the next day (the first day being an exception).

    I am very thankful to Nele and her Vegan Candida Cleanse meal plan. This meal plan has helped me understand how to combine foods better and how to support my metabolism. Even though I thought I ate healthy enough, I couldn’t cope with candida on my own. Information on Internet is so contradictory. Nele’s meal plan took me to a new level of tastes. The food is delicious, filling and satisfying. Following the meal plan, I have no carvings and I don’t have to count if there was enough time passed from last meal.     My symptoms really reduced even in just a short amount of time (I’d say a reduction of about 60-70%). I am not following it now – I do eat a bit of fruit throughout the day, and other starchy foods. The biggest benefit I’ve taken away is that I have a sense of how to build nutritious, low sugar meals, and my eating habits have completely shifted for the better. My chronic bladder pain did return somewhat, though it’s not been anywhere near as bad as before I started. I still want to try again with some lessons learned from my first round, because I know your program works – I can’t express how grateful I am that you figured this stuff out as a vegan.

    Your buckwheat oat bran pancakes and buckwheat bread are amazing! The whole family ate those just on their own! Forgot to mention how wonderful my son is doing! His tongue is no longer white. His mood swings are very minimal. He actually told me that he feels happy. He would always say that he feels like a volcano is inside of him. I always attributed it to being 13 but it was this terrible yeast that was taking over his body, so I’m happy to already see results! I know this will be a long process but thank you for helping us with this journey!
